Subject: Application for refund of the money wrongly credited vide UPI transaction Id…
The Undersigned made a transaction of Rs. 5000.00 on ……….. through UPI bearing transaction ID………….. in favour of XYC having UPI ID …………
The transaction was stuck due to the technical glitch and the same was reported to you after completion of T+1 day, when the money transferred did not return to the source account.
The Bank assured that it will be duly returned to the source account or to the beneficiary account. However, due to the Bank’s negligence the said amount was transferred to the third party and the same was duly withdrawn.
Even after getting the assurance retrieval of the amount, I haven't received it. Therefore, I am compelled to write this complaint for retrieval of the amount wrongly credited to the third party and the penalty of Rs. 500 per day for the failure of the UPI transaction calculated from completion of T+1 day as per the latest guidelines of RBI in relation to the UPI Transactions.
I graciously request that my grievances and complaint will duly be addressed within 5 days otherwise I will be compelled to invoke other legal recourse available.
